Sydney received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2019. In her final internship year, she worked at SERC Physical and Hand Therapy – Midtown (Kansas City, MO), Rehabilitation Hospital of Overland Park (Overland Park, KS), St. John Paul II Orthopedic Mission Hospital (Lusaka, Zambia), and Foundational Concepts (Kansas City, MO).
These internships offered her unique perspectives and experience in various settings including outpatient orthopedics, subacute inpatient rehabilitation, community-based rehabilitation and education, and women’s health/pelvic floor.
During her women’s health/pelvic floor internship at Foundational Concepts, she studied under and treated alongside highly respected clinicians in the specialty, which both expanded her knowledge and nurtured her passion for this population. In her free time, Sydney loves to explore new restaurants, read, and spend time outdoors.
